OFL’s STEM initiative ecosystem harnesses the unique contribution of all these different settings in symbiosis to deliver STEM learning for all children in Liberia. This design pathway enables young people to become engaged, knowledgeable and skilled in STEM disciplines as they progress through childhood into adolescence and early adulthood. Our STEM initiatives include:
- Establishment of a center for after school computer literacy programs for elementary, junior and senior high school students.
- Introduction of robotics programs for elementary, junior and senior high school students to spark interest in science and engineering.
- Provide technical journals and books for libraries of various elementary, junior, and senior high schools.
